FAQ

THESE ARE A FEW OF THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS WE GET ASKED.

If you have additional questions feel free to email us! info@crabbycreatures.com

1. PRINT QUALITY & DETAILS:

All Crabby Creature Giclee prints are currently done in house at the Crabby HQ. Using only the highest quality genuine inks on our Canon Pro 300 printer, and the finest museum archival quality paper. This ensures prints will last at least 85 years.

Each print is individually checked and proofed, before it is embossed, hand numbered and signed by Marty. All prints are sold unframed and shipped in their mounts, cello bags and then in sturdy reinforced envelops (Or boxes for larger orders). Every limited edition print comes with a certificate of authenticity which is also embossed, hand number & signed by Marty. Prints are currently limited to 25 or less and usually A4 or A5 in size. However, It depends on the original painting and the artists preference. If you require something different, let us know and we are happy to consider it.

Framing is available, please email for options or pop into Gallery Thirteen Haslemere.

2. Originals:

All Crabby Creature originals are painted with the finest quality products. My ink paintings are with various drawing inks (usually Winsor & Newton) on thick acid free water colour paper FSC Certified. They are then varnished with Monatna Spray varnish, which is acid free, with UV-protection and protects against oxidisation.

The spray paint artworks use high quality acrylic based spray paint and then varnished with Montana Spray varnish, which is acid free, with UV-protection and protects against oxidisation.

Paintings can be supplied framed or unframed, please refer to the original listing and if you require something different please get in touch. It is recommended for international sales the artworks are shipped unframed.

3. YOU WOULD LIKE A LARGER OR SMALLER PRINT?    All prints are limited in number and size. If you require filling a larger space we recommend putting together a collection of 3-4 pieces. For this we offer collector discounts on multiple prints. email info@crabbycreatures.com to discuss that!

 4. HOW IS MY ARTWORK GOING TO BE SHIPPED?

The artwork will either be carefully rolled in a tube with many layers for protection for safe international shipping. Or in reinforced envelopes/ boxes for prints in mounts.

International Shipments

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on package weight and distance. If there is any discrepancy -/+ we will let you know via email.
